PRESENTATION

SAEA Aveyron gives you an appointment for the new edition of LE LION D'ACIER at the village hall of Millau, on October 28 and 29, 2023.

LE LION D'ACIER is the most prestigious buhurt 1vs1 tournament in France.

For the 2023 edition, the tournament becomes international ! Competitors from all over the world will be able to compete in the official French Federation of Béhourd categories : long sword, buckler sword, shield sword, polearms and Profight.

International champions will meet to compete for the title of STEEL LIONESS and STEEL LION 2023 and thus win the signet rings created and offered by our talented partner L'Atelier de la Dourbie.

2 lists for 16 hours fights broadcast live !

Medieval craftsmen and exhibitors, introductions to historical combat sports for the general public, a refreshment bar with on-site catering... A sporting and cultural weekend not to be missed !

LE LION D'ACIER is an official French Federation of Buhurt 1vs1 tournament in the following categories :

Sword & Buckle Men/Women
Sword & Shield Men/Women
Longsword Men/Women
Polearms Men/Women

The competition will take place according to the official international rules and respecting the equipment authenticity charter.

LE LION D'ACIER is an official tournament of PROFIGHT.

The competitions will take place with a single fight in 3 rounds of 2 minutes or 3 minutes for belt fights. Competitors will be classified by weight categories as follows :

Men - 75kg
Men 75kg - 85kg
Men 85 kg - 95 kg
Men + 95 kg
Women - single category

* in accordance with the rules of the French Béhourd Federation

DEMOS / INITIATION

You can learn about historical combat sports in light armor!

A list of demonstration and initiation will be open to all audiences from the age of 5, led by the SAEA Aveyron, affiliated club Federation France Soft Armored Fighting and French Federation of Modern Pentathlon (historical sports section).
